Project Portfolio Office Manager

We are seeking an experienced individual to develop and manage the Programme Office. You will be required to schedule a portfolio of projects to ensure this meets resource capacity and required timelines. You will manage governance and project methodology and process, ensuring value is added to the business throughout the project lifecycle.  You will have responsibility for managment of the Programme Management Office and up to £25m portfolio budget.

About you

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in PMO management and people management, including matrix management, ideally within a Financial Services environment.  You will have exceptional communication skills, both written and orally and be used to producing accurate reports at executive and board level.

Your stakeholder skills will be second to none and you will be a pragmatic, hands on manager with excellent leadership skills.  Credibility is key, as is solid experience of setting up a programme office.

Results driven with a commercial outlook, you will be able to show evidence of budget management of £20m plus, as well as having had exposure to a variety of projects.
