Important information for Members: The next chapter
As you may know, we re-launched in 2008 with a new business focus on the retirement income market and this has been very successful. Since then, we’ve been looking at how we can enable members who hold with-profits policies to benefit from this success.
As a mutual society, it’s really important for us to ensure that our plans for the future are driven by the value they will bring our members and policyholders. To this end, we have considered a whole range of options and have now reached a deal which provides the best outcome for eligible members.
An extensive period of work has concluded in the news I’m sharing here now – the Board of the Society has reached an agreement in principle to sell its new business franchise to investment company TDR Capital.
