Risk Manager
We have a great new permanent opportunity for a Risk Manager to co-ordinate, challenge and maintain oversight of MGM Advantage’s Risk Control Self Assessment Process and reporting. You will manage the production of the quarterly Risk reporting and Own Risk and Solvency Assessment report.
Other responsibilities will include the development of all aspects of the MGM Advantage Enterprise Risk Management system (ERM) and risk culture. This role will promote a strong risk management culture throughout the organisation.
About you
The ideal candidate will have Life & Pensions industry experience but we will consider strong applicants with general insurance and banking experience. It is essential that you have a proven record in risk management and the promotion of good risk management practices along with managing RCSA, Emerging Risk and Risk Events process and reporting. Knowledge of Solvency II requirements would be helpful.
Results focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will be able to work independently and use your initiative to follow through findings and remedial actions. You will be technically competent with good organisational, planning and analytical skills in problem identification and solving. You should be confident in your ability to provide robust challenge and oversight of risks and risk management process. You will have experience of preparing training materials and presentations and delivering these to various stakeholders.
