Product Manager (Income Drawdown)
In this role it will be up to you to champion the management and development of the key MGM products (new and legacy) as agreed with the Head of Product and Proposition, through ownership of specific projects relating to development and implementation of products, regulatory changes to products, and the development of MGM’s online proposition.  In this particular role this will involve the implementation of the building of an Income Drawdown (IDD) Product in accordance with MGM’s plans.

As one of the Product Mangers within the team, you will be technically proficient across the whole product portfolio, whilst retaining specific accountability for the IDD product, ensuring that the Society’s product range meets the needs of our target customers (end consumers), financial advisers and our chosen distribution channels.

About you
It is essential that you have a minimum of 5 years experience in a product development and/or business analyst role, specifically within the life and pensions/retirement market. With this you will have detailed knowledge and understanding of products within the FS industry especially in retirement products, these will include: Annuities (essential); With profit/unit linked annuities (essential); Income Drawdown (essential); Equity release; and long term care along with detailed knowledge and understanding of the various distribution channels.

Results driven, highly motivated with excellent planning and organisational skills, you will be happy to use your strong influencing skills and communicating at all levels across the business. You will have previous experience of working on medium and large projects and using project management tools.  Your analytical skills will be second to none and you will be comfortable using marketing analysis systems.
