IT Technical Solutions Architect

We have a permanent vacancy for an IT Technical Solutions Architect.  With support from the IT Management team, this new role will define appropriate strategic level enterprise architecture in line with the Society’s 5 year business plan.

In partnership with the Business Change function and the wider business, the IT Technical Solutions Architect will provide independent design review of proposed technical solutions and consultancy to ensure that they are fit for purpose and are consistent with the enterprise level architecture vision.

As a partner with the business, the successful candidate will be instrumental in ongoing development and will be proactive in providing innovative and forward thinking technology solutions that will enable MGM Advantage to achieve business targets.

About you

With a Financial Services background you will probably have around 10 year’s working within an IT environment and solid experience of supporting business change programmes in the delivery of design solution. Evidence of working at a strategic level is key to this role.

A ‘champion’ for innovation you will have a proven track record of defining enterprise level systems architecture and evidence of ability to define and invoke control processes for systems architecture

The ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions, communicate and present management information and solution proposals at all levels, including Executive and Board level, is essential.

Technically strong, you will hold ISEB or a similar qualification in ‘IT Assets and Infrastructure’ and ‘Solution Development’.
